The Yamaha YU1SZ is a premium Yamaha upright piano from the highly regarded YU series, manufactured in Japan in 2000. This particular example is finished in polished ebony and is in excellent condition.
The YU series was designed to offer a premium level of piano performance, with excellent tonal quality, responsive touch and Yamaha’s renowned build quality. The YU1SZ combines these qualities with the added versatility of a Yamaha Silent system, allowing you to practise privately using headphones when required.
When played acoustically, the YU1SZ provides the rich, clear tone and responsive playing experience expected from a high-quality Yamaha upright piano. When the Silent function is selected, the acoustic sound is muted and the pianist can continue playing through headphones, making it particularly well suited to home use where quiet practice is important.
At 121cm high and 153cm wide, the YU1SZ is very similar in size to the Yamaha U1 and makes an excellent alternative for anyone looking for a Yamaha U1-sized upright with the added benefit of Silent functionality.
This piano is in excellent condition and has been carefully checked and prepared by Brighton Piano Warehouse. It is supplied with our 5-year warranty, giving you additional peace of mind.
Why choose the Yamaha YU1SZ?
The YU1SZ offers the qualities of Yamaha’s premium YU series in a compact upright piano, together with the flexibility of a Silent system. It is an excellent choice for pianists who want a high-quality acoustic piano but also need the option of practising quietly.
For anyone considering a Yamaha U1 for sale in Brighton, the YU1SZ is a particularly attractive alternative, offering a similar size and excellent acoustic performance together with the added convenience of Silent practice.
