What is a Yamaha TransAcoustic Piano? The piano offers the best of both worlds. An Acoustic Piano and a Digital Piano. It is a Yamaha U1 Piano. Professional series Upright, beautiful tone with a rich bass – Responsive touch. With the bonus of a silent system attached, allowing the pianist to play with headphones. The TransAcoustic mode allows the pianist to play the piano as a digital piano with volume control (without headphones). Transducers have been placed onto the soundboard, Turning the soundboard into a loud speaker, producing natural amplified tones.

The Yamaha U1 SHTA is a rare find on the secondhand market. The piano is in perfect, as new condition.
